<b><u>SWEETS @ HOME</u></b>

SWEETS@HOME was established by Peter Messely in 2005.

He received his basic training at ‘Ter Groene Poorte’ in Bruges. Along with numerous weekend trainings at fine regional bakeries. He refined his techniques at ‘Pattiserie Wittamer’ in Brussels, which is a world famous business with departments as far as in Japan.

This ‘sweet’ period was followed by Peter’s more specialized training in the ‘Richmond Fachshüle’ in Luzern, at ‘Lenôtre’ in Paris. He continued his training with multiple courses to perfect his techniques and knowledge.

After all his training Peter applied himself to sharing his knowledge with college pastry makers (bakers) and chefs by giving demonstrations in Belgium, the Netherlands, England and Poland.

In 2005 Peter established SWEETS@HOME in order to expand his hobby of experimenting with sweets. Sweets@home is a fulfillment of his dream to share his knowledge in a professional way with colleges, friends and hobby cooks . His workshops teach theory and practical techniques that are useful to all participants.

Due to the success of the culinary workshops, Sweets@home expanded from offering only sweet workshops to offering a wide range of culinary activities. Together with a hand picked team of professional Chef’s, Patissiers en Chocolatiers. SWEETS@HOME offers a wide range of culinary activities like workshops, cooking classes, interactive teambuilding with food, the organisation of culinary parties, receptions and culinary events. All activities have the same main ingredient, which is refined culinary discoveries brought to you in a relaxed, amicable atmosphere.
